Graphic Practice:

Materials Needed:

  • Individual white boards
  • Dry erase markers
  • Socks or erasers
  • Music

Procedure:

  • Begin with a pretend scenario or story
  • The teacher models for the children what they will draw when the music starts; each drawing is broken down into steps. Each step of the drawing is done 3 times (the music will start and stop 3 times)
  • When the music stops the children are to stop drawing and hold their marker up in the air, when the music starts again they continue their drawing.
